How do you write Grandmaster Chai in Thai? I've seen different spellings for it from people. Anyone know the exact spelling?

Thanks,

Carlos

P.S. We have 2 people testing for their apprentice instructorship in Miami, Fl at Unified Martial Art Academy (Khun Kru Dwight Woods' school) and we may need some feeders so if you can make it down to attend the seminar and also feed that would be great.

Either call the school at 305-595-2892, Email sihing_john@yahoo.com or you can call me directly at 786-314-1554

Sard Sa Da Jarn 'Chai

Since Siruchai 'Chai Sirisute has promoted six others to "Ajarn" it would be unfair to call him "Ajarn 'Chai" as well. Also, being a supremely humble man, he will not give himself the title of "Grand Master" which, honestly, makes me respect him even more. So, at the moment, we seem to be settling on "Sard Sa Da Jarn 'Chai" down here.

Mike,
I am sorry to tell you Tony did indeed die a few years ago. I do not remember how, I do not believe it was a head injury but not 100% sure. Hope this helps to at least know for sure.

Grand Master

There is currently some debate as to which word best describes this. There are 3 words that fit and we are still trying to come to a decision on which one is best. Sard Sa Da Jarn, Brahm Ajarn, and Ajarn Yai. Although he prefers to just be called Ajarn just as I prefer to be called Kru. I will post when a definitive answer is available. Thank you for asking.
