I sit here putting the finishing touches on the White Prajioud Stripe One online video that I am putting together as an ongoing mission to spread Muay Thai, and I’m getting ready to prepare for this year’s “Oregon Camp.” 

Last year I prepared well.

I first met Jessamyn at the 2011 Oregon Thai Camp.  Her feminine demeanor would hide the fact that she is a talented MMA fighter with a bright future if she wasn't 5'11" and 135lbs of lean sinewy muscle.  Her movements are precise and technical while her focused gaze pierces even the hardest soul.   While training at the camp alongside Jessamyn I never got to know her, nor her coach Kru Scott Elliott, but I became impressed with how skillfully she executed her Muay Thai technique.

You put your money with a certified financial planner.  You take your car to a certified mechanic.  Wouldn't you want a certified Muay Thai instructor, aswell?

Certification means quality.  It is proof that the instructor meets a minimum standard, and shows the difference between an experienced instructor who has devoted the time to develop themselves professionally--and someone who hasn't.  Who wants a coach who isn't devoted, nor professional?

Every year the best Muay Thai talent in America, no, the best Muay Thai talent in the world gather in one place to share their knowledge. This year I had the honor to participate.

The legendary Pacific Northwest Muay Thai Camp is held together by the megalith that is Ajarn Surachai Sirisute.

With the Oregon Camp fast approaching, workouts are at their all time high. Just remember about rest, feed, and re-fuel those muscles with healthy grains and protein, greens for oxygen to the blood and minerals to support.

The Thai Boxing Association's Annual Pacific Northwest Camp is a big deal. Five days of camping in the woods with over 100 of America's most dedicated Thaiboxers; living, breathing, eating, and training Muay Thai from seven in the morning to nine at night with the most successful Thai Boxing instructor in the world, Ajarn Surachai Sirisute.

I am working on the website for the Oregon Camp. This site will be available for everyone to post their photos, Videos and experience at the Camp for each year. We are under construction now and should be up and running soon.

Thanks to everyone for their help making the camp so successful and also to all that attend each year. Every year is special with great memories that we need to keep in our hearts.
